Languages
The five native languages of Raeluna correspond to the five Cradle Islands: Baraki, Zelixan, Uldrathi, Mehujaeli, and Anvardi, although each has internal dialects that can separate even native speakers. The common tongue among travelers is known as Travit, a mixture and evolution of Baraki and low Anvardi that also borrows words and concepts from Zelixan, Uldrathi, and Mehujaeli. In more rural areas, Travit is closer to low Anvardi. Among merchants and frequent travelers, it is closer to Baraki.
